I’ve been working on honey jars a great deal this week. Container and candle magick are my thing. After a great time of stripping and banishing, it is time to usher in sweet things into my reclaimed energy. Honey jars require consistency, but they can be highly effective for drawing things towards you or “sweetening” a person, project, or situation. I am a naturopathic chef and herbalist…as well as a practicing witch. As such, I love to get in the kitchen and play with the curative and magical properties of herbs and food. Forming intimacy and relationship with my spell casting ingredients helps me connect deeper to the spirit of what I am working to achieve. I crafted my own orange and bay leaf syrup for my sweetening jars in lieu of honey. Orange is a beautiful energy to work with to add joy, abundance, and open roads to success. Bay leaf is gorgeous for boosting the success of a working too. It’s important that as we clear out the energy of the old, we fill it with the new.
