🌴 Take me back to Mexico! 🤪😂 I wouldn’t say it was the most relaxing trip since we had our son, Declan Rhys, with us (who is almost 2), but boy was it good. 🥰🤯 I can’t get over how special it was that 10/11 of my family members got to be there PLUS my in-laws. Declan had both sets of grandparents with him on his first trip out of the country… how rare is ANY of that?!? ❤️❤️ I’m beyond grateful for my amazing family and the opportunity to spend some time adventuring together and chasing warmer weather. ⛰️ Dear Colorado summer, come quick! ❄️🥶 Anyone else desperate for some warmth already?
🙄 A little vulnerability here… Q1 has been one of the slowest quarters I’ve had in my photography career for a WHILE. However, here are some wonderful families and brands I did get to capture in Q1! I’m just over here reminding myself that it’s all part of the ebb & flow of entrepreneurship. Even though the roller coaster isn’t as bumpy after being in business for so long, it’s still the reality of working for myself in a creative industry. Still 1000% worth it, but even after being used to how it goes, it’s still a bit anxiety-inducing during the slow seasons. ➡️ Goals for growth in the next few months: 1️⃣ Book out my Mother’s Day mini sessions at @kindlecos because I’ve poured so much into making this set EPIC and I want to really take advantage of the time it’s available (booking link in my bio) 2️⃣ Refine my brand session planning process more 3️⃣ Actually pitch to dream brands (something I haven’t had the time for in the past, but have been really wanting to try so I can keep expanding the kinds of brands I get to work with). 4️⃣ Plan summer minis (thinking a couple of outdoor evenings and one weekday in a Denver studio) - jump on my email list via the link in my bio if you want to be the first to know about these! I feel like I say that every year, but it still blows my mind how fast time flies. 🎄🤓 While everyone else is busy taking holiday photos, editing holiday photos, and ordering Christmas cards, we’re busy planning for next year and wanted to give you a tiny heads up about what to expect! 💗💗 We will be offering a Valentine’s Day set again (roughly January 28 - February 14), but this time it will revolve around the bed instead of a couch. This way all of our lovely boudoir photographers out there can have something unique and extra pretty to offer their clients leading up to the day of love!
