Well, I just couldn't wait to cut the loaf of my "mess up!" The soap frosting.seized on me so I had to shape the green soap and apply soap embeds I had previously made! So on top of this loaf are flowers and flamingos lol! We'll just say "Tropical Christmas" 🎄🦩 But oh my gosh my flower and stripes I'm thrilled with! I used essential oils from @wholesalesuppliesplus to make a candy cane scent! I'll cut the ,Christmas tree topped one , after horse sessions today! Yes, I had every intention of just doing a dark blue sky with the moon but the sunsets here on the farm kept entering my thoughts and I guess my whimsical interpretation just came through in my design ☺️ I am first thrilled to be using goat milk again AND second, really please at the work I've put into achieving natural colors!! The blue is an infusion of blue clay and indigo root powder, the rose/orange is an infusion of annatto seeds with rose clay added, and the yellow is annatto seeds with yellow clay! Natural fragrance from @wholesalesuppliesplus "Camomile and White Freesia" For my fellow soapers: I soap at an 18.2% "water" (1.3: 1 water to lye ratio ) and have found my colors and essential oils/natural fragrances hold amazingly in CP soap! Yes! I do a FULL GOAT MILK soap at this "water" reduction!! For those interested in making soap: I will be releasing the "How to make goat milk soap" video soon!! Editing now!
