Paris - Athènes J14 : premier day "off" ! Exceptionnellement, je laisse Olympe au camping pour passer cette journée de "repos" à Venise où les vélos sont interdits. Je prends le premier bateau depuis le camping pour profiter de la fraîcheur et du calme du matin. Toute la matinée, je suis submergée d'émotions. Je crois que je commence enfin à réaliser où je suis et surtout comment j'y suis arrivée, j'ai du mal à m'en remettre. Après avoir visité la basilique San Marco, je fais l'impasse d'une nouvelle queue pour le palazzo Ducale et je décide de parcourir la ville comme je préfère le faire : avec des géocaches et des labcaches. Elles guident mes pas vers des lieux touristiques souvent, improbables parfois, et toujours splendides et intéressants. Je découvre ainsi une crypte unique au monde puisqu'elle est dans l'eau, je passe alternativement par la ruelle la plus étroite de Venise et la plus basse. Je mange les meilleures lasagnes de ma vie dans une Osteria et je repars avec des petites salières à la truffe, seul souvenir que je me permets de rapporter d'Italie. Il est probable que mes prochains snacks et sandwichs gagnent en gamme avec ce petit ajout 🤤 Je prends le Vaporetto à plusieurs reprises mais ce sont tout de même 20km que je parcours au total dans la ville pour cette journée de "repos" 😅 ! Et déjà c'est l'heure de prendre le bateau du retour au camping. Pour une fois je me couche tôt. Back in town ! Nouvelle grosse étape, départ de Bourg-en-Bresse direction Chalon-sur-Saône pour une deuxième journée à 100 km. Ce matin il ne pleut pas, on met un pied dehors et il pleut 😑 Toute la matiné il a bruiné ou de la pluie fine pas trop génante. On a pris beaucoup de petites routes ce matin hors de la circulation. Après manger c'est le déluge une nouvelle fois cette fois c'est beaucoup plus génant. Il fait froid et on est très vite totalement trempés. Pas le choix on continu d'avancer. Toute la journée ça a été mal plat, que des toutes petites montés et descentes mais qui cassent les pattes et le rythme. On entre en Bourgogne, ça y es on est presque à la maison. Petite photo devant le panneau forcément. On passe à Ormes, mais ils se sont trompés normalement c'est à Lormes qu'on va ! 🤔 La pluie qui ne nous a pas quittés de la journée s'arrête enfin à 10 km de l'arrivée. J363 (sam. 11 mai): ☁️🌧️ 96,6km +1378 -590 Réveil 7h après une courte nuit 🥱. Rangement des sacoches, descente des 6 étages, chargement des vélos, puis on part avec Ümit pour rejoindre à 8h les cyclos du club de vélo qui partagent avec nous les premiers km et un p'tit déjeuner avant que l'on ne prenne le large 🤗. Nous voilà partis en convoi de 9 cyclos 😄, une grande première pour nous! On passe un chouette moment 🫶. De jolis paysages le matin 🤩, on longe la frontière Arménienne (l'Arménie n'est qu'à 500m! 😯) avec de la montée l'aprem puis un plateau pluvieux. Les militaires aux check-points contrôlent deux fois nos passeports (on sent que c'est plus tendu). On ne pensait pas faire une aussi grosse journée 🥵, mais absolument rien pour s'arrêter bivouaquer dans cette zone très militarisée 🫤, on a continué jusqu'au prochain village... plus de 96km et surtout plus de 1370m de D+! Arrivés à Digor, sous la pluie 🌧️, à 1765m d'altitude, ça caille 🥶, on va boire un çay pour se réchauffer (c'est un fumoir 😕). On se met en quête d'un lieu de bivouac: pas de résultat bien concluant et le village ne nous paraît pas franchement accueillant... On est un peu dépités. On décide d'aller manger dans un petit resto de quoi se réchauffer (trop fatigués pour cuisiner): soupe de lentilles et lahmacun 😋. On demande au cuistot s'il connaît un endroit où on peut mettre notre tente sous abri ou si on peut dormir dans le resto (car il est en train de fermer). Il téléphone: on est invités chez ses parents 😯🙏! Gros câlins de bonjour avec Didem la maman, çay, couverture énorme et toute douce (elle a peur que j'ai froid), grignotage et discutions grâce à notre traducteur numérique 🤗 avec elle, son mari Ali, sa fille Acellya et son fils Enez que l'on a vu au resto. Encore une chouette rencontre, pleine d'humanité 🥰! Stiamo parlando del Tuscany Trail, ca va sans dire. Noi l'abbiamo percorso nel 2021. Quando fino all'ultimo non si sapeva se avrebbero aperto lo spostamento tra regioni. Quando ancora si partiva da Massa e si arrivava ad Orbetello, percorrendo, non solo idealmente, l'intera regione. Quando eravamo giovani ed alle prime armi con i trail. Départ au sec ce matin, on longe le lac du Bourget pendant un moment. Il a des airs de Loch Ness avec les nuages. On passe au pied du Grand Colombier et on traverse le Rhône, en souvenir du début du voyage. Première averse de la journée, ça se calme pendant qu'on mange. On repart pour attaquer le col de la Lèbe et nouvelle averse. Un monsieur en voiture s'arrête pour nous demander si on veut se mettre à l'abris tellement il pleuvait. Encore trempée, encore plus à l'intérieur forcément en kway en pleinne montée. Ça se calme et on peut se découvrir pour essayer de sécher avant la descente. Et dans la descente c'est reparti nouvelle averse la plus grosse. On voyait plus rien et il faisait froid. En bas de la descente le soleil fait son apparition jusqu'à ce qu'on arrive à Bourg en Bresse. Il restait 25 km et deux petites bosses à monter qu'on a pu faire au sec. Après la petite journée d'hier c'est le grand écart avec 106 km.
