Growing up I was told to depriotize art, that I would never amount to anything if I pursued painting as more than a hobby. Even as I began to take art more serious over the past five years, for a long time I refused to consider myself an artist, making excuses not to promote or sell my work. Those days are long gone and I couldn’t be more proud of myself in launching my art business, Pretty Colors LLC! In autumn 2023, I decided to take the next step and signed up for a twelve-week group coaching program for creatives, called Roots to Fruits. If it weren’t for this amazing experience, I wouldn’t be here today posting this.
