These are mamma's reads for #babyyodasrc2024. The first is Hanna Green and Her Unfeasibly Mundane Existence by Michael Marshall Smith. Hannah is an eleven year old whose parents are separating, making her life mundane. Then her daddy decides that she should spend a couple of weeks with her abuelito. While there, things get complicated as abuelito's old friend shows up asking for help! This friend is the devil! This is not a kids book so this is as much as mamma will share. The second book, Trece latas de atún (Thirteen cans of tuna), is an audiobook that's part memoir, part fictional short stories. Until recently only one author had made mamma cry, twice. Well, @amanditita made mamma cry. Mamma took a week break before finishing the book. Like Forest Gump, that's all she has to say about that. There was another audiobook by an Argentine author but mamma says that is not a BYC sort of book but that it made her think a lot! If you are looking for something very out there, you can ask her about it.
