A sense of shame to see how a micro-brand such as CREPAS can get a bracelet and proportions right when more prestigious brands that sell their watches in well over five figures still insist in proposing straight non-tapered bracelets with cheap lateral-pusher clasps. The list of those bad integrated watch attempts is long since 99% of them fail miserably at that. Leaving those thoughts aside, my first reaction out of the box on the “Aquamatic” is its proportions. the second is its weight. Not an oversized watch but no miniature child watch size either. I had the initial reaction to think it too heavy, yet I need to remind myself that this is not meant to be a “sporty-leisure” piece like an Oak.
