Hotei Laughing Buddha in Japanese he was depicted as a Shinto-gods of luck. He is the god of happiness, laughter and the wisdom of contentment, and is the patron of the weak and children, fortunetellers and bartenders. Hotei is distinguished by his body of generous proportions and round stomach exposed beneath loose robes. His big belly is a symbol of happiness, luck and generosity. I created this design of candle a year ago. When I 1st made the 1st candle it was sold immediately. Since I chose to keep this design candle for myself and haven’t shown it since I decided to show it on this special full moon energy. As much I love making candles I too have my own collection of candles that I use for my rituals and today I decided to use #sirenmermaid with child candle. Summer is a time that most of us like to spend time near or at the beach. Being that the ocean is the largest living organism that has lived for over 3 billion years and since I love the ocean and the sea life. I decided to share a picture of my alter and how I celebrate and give thanks for the beauty of the ocean and it’s sea life. Here is a little something as food for thought. We are very similar as the ocean an adult holds 60% of water and a child approximately 70%. And earth is around 70% covered in water. We know very little of the depths of the ocean as we humans know very little of the depths of our inner self. Different Types of Angels Seraphim Angels The Seraphim angels are the angels closest to God. These angels encircle his throne and emit an intense, fiery light representing his light, the loving light of God. Seraphim are considered "fiery serpents," and the other divine beings may not view them. There are a total of 4 Seraphim, and each has four faces and six wings. When Seraphim appear on Earth, they prefer to take the forms of tall, thin, clean-cut human embodiments while leaving their fiery serpent forms behind in Heaven. Cherubim Angels (Plural of Cherub) The Cherubim angels are the divine keepers of celestial records and hold the knowledge of God. The Cherub angels are sent to Earth when there is a great need with matters of most importance, like when humankind was expelled from the Garden of Eden. Ancient art depicts the Cherubim as sphinx-like and winged creatures with human faces. Not the fat babies with wings that now grace greeting cards and book covers. Principalities Angels These angelic beings are seen as rays of light. The partial #lunareclipse that will take place on November 19 will be the longest since the one that occurred in the 15th century. The one to take place this month will span over six hours. Candle work is magical work. Candles have been used for centuries in ritual and magic practice. Fire of the candle is a powerful tool, it can ignite things, create and also remove and destroy and you can also use fire to invoke things. The candle signifies, light, warmth, celebration, love, hope, commemoration. To many times in our life we lose things or people that are beautiful and touching to our hearts. These losses are to learn to appreciate the beauty we have in life but to many times we can’t let go of people, moments, and memories and I have been told a few times that the candles that I make are too beautiful to burn and my answer has always been in order to allow for beautiful people, moments, things and creations one must give room for knew experience of beauty. So what better way than burn a beautiful candle and allow the flow of fire magic continue flowing in ones life.
