Our MCB family has grown by 4 today ð. Meet our two mother sheep, Geetha and Ganga, and their 2 lambs, Lakshmi and Saraswati. It had been a tough year for farmers in WA with extreme drought coupled with various trade factors causing farmers to put down their animals or give away for adoption. We were moved by their plight and surrendered it to Mohanji and in no time, we had an opportunity to adopt 4 of them. Mohanji also ensured he arranged everything in no time: firstly, farmer could identify 2 sheep and 2 female lambs, secondly we could arrange for the travel in less than 15 minutes and leave to get them. Two grand days spent by the water ð. This morning the women decided to have a yoga class down at the jetty. The warm sunshine along with the sound of the water immediately made them feel peaceful and want to go into silence. It was an interesting comparison to hold the class indoors versus outside. After lunch we continued listening to Mohanjiâs satsang and the group said that the topics Mohanji brought up were significant for their current daily life. Another beautiful day at the MCB ð The morning started with light yogic exercises again, introducing new warm up techniques. After breakfast the group did the abundance process where they got to identify and release limiting beliefs and replace them with positive ones such as self acceptance and love! We then took a break and one of the most delicious vegan sandwiches and pumpkin soup was shared as we watched the river. The last activity of the day was Devi Mohanâs Awakening Yoga Nidra, a deep process of acknowledging your hearts deepest wish, planting that intention, going on a visual journey of integrating with your shadows, bringing them to light and continuing on the journey to self actualization and oneness. The group is now peacefully going to bed ð. One of the most interesting parts of the day was how we all shared the same idea to go to the beach tomorrow! Today marks the first day of our Silence & Stability retreat. The participants arrived, had a tour of the land, got settled in their chalets, got to know more about our centre, Mohanji and the Mohanji Foundation followed by bonding through discussion. The group also felt a shared inclination to dip into silence together for the rest of the retreat and to journal their daily experiences. The evening concluded with their first ever experience of Devi Mohanâs âThe Light Beyond.â Each individual agreed that the process was beautiful and one participant even shared the experience of feeling no need to breathe during one of the exercises and the freedom felt from not having to do so! I had never heard of a Red Tingle Tree, but growing up to 230 feet tall with a circumference of up to 60 feet and living up to 400 years old they rival the Sequoias and Redwoods. These amazing trees continue to live when they are harmed by fire, see the photos of the burned out areas at the bottom. They are endemic to a very small area of Western Australia, about 25 square miles. The reason for this is they depend on a large amount of rainfall each year, which arrives with the winds coming up from Antarctica. Not only is this small area unique with these giant trees, but there are endemic animals here as well, notably frogs. See last photo for the tree top walk here which gives a unique perspective.
