'As I walk this tidal path' is a project I have been working on over the past few months. I'm feeling slightly nervous to share first glimpses of it because it feels very personal, and it is still work in progress. Based on extensive walks in the Thames estuary, through nature and industry, I explore my identity, inner topography, memory and connection to the landscape. Subverting meaning and messages from the mainstream media, the artist’s scathing commentary on advertising, entertainment, and politics is both confrontational and controversial.
