๐ฝ๏ธ chefโs table @stanforddining ๐ stanford, ca I recently had the privilege of attending a chefโs table at wilbur dining, one of stanfordโs dining halls. chefโs tables are special dinners hosted at each dining hall, and the type of cuisine varies based on the specific chef and location. I had been wanting to try one of these experiences since my freshman year, so I was SO excited when I was able to snag a spot. there were 8 courses plus dessert: arpege egg, uni on a brown butter and dashi toasted brioche, steamed white rice and trout roe with smoked sabayon, triple cream brie tart with microgreens and saba, saffron risotto with shaved black truffle, salt baked beets and caviar with dill oil and buttermilk, poached black cod with a fish broth, sous vide short rib with black garlic and miso eggplant, and an assorted tart platter. a huge thank you to chef @mychelbrewster for helping me check this off my bucket list before graduation! it was such a wonderful experience!!
