🏆🏆 WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER! 🥇🥇 Congrats to Nadya who played a small NTRP 4.0 Tournament at Sea Colony and wins it! She has been making progress but injuries seem to always hold her back and for the first time she is injury free. She was able to best the top two seeds beating the number 2 seed and UTR 3.94 6-1, 6-1 in the semis and then the number 1 seed and UTR 5.42; 6-7(4), 7-5, 10-7 in the finals. For context, Nadya is a UTR 3.66… but not for long! In the finals she was able to fight back from 1-4 down to go up 6-5, but ultimately fell 6-7(4) in the first. But that didn’t deter her as she kept her cool and kept battling. She went down 2-5 in the second but again fought back to win the second 7-5!! Then the rest is history, as she ran away with it to win 10–7 in the third set tiebreaker. She was up 5-1 and 7-2 at one point in the third but stayed strong and brought it home! Well done! We still have lots of work to do to get to your goals, but you’re now a few steps closer!! All HPT coaches are so dang proud of you and your work ethic! CONGRATS!!
