THE LITTLE YOU KNOW IS ENOUGH❣️🌹 Yesterday I received an email 📧from @thevirtualmuslimah team (check 1st and 2nd slides) requesting to collaborate with my brand. It took me down memory lane, during my mentorship program with @alfachemistry in 2022 he encouraged those of us that didn't have an Instagram account to open one. I have never opened one before, because I believe it's actually a waste of time (don't mind me oh) Immediately I created one , it was asking me for Username I was confused I reached out to my mentor which he suggested 3 username for me and I picked muslimahsalescoach ✴️(that was how I came up with my brand name) It was time for me to share my introductory post, self-doubt set in. I was telling myself I can't do it. I reached out to Alfachemistry again(May Almighty Allah reward him with good in both worlds,Aameen) he told me to check at the virtual Muslimah page and to have an idea of what to post. Even after studying her introductory post like someone that wants to write exams, I still didn't know what to write. Then I told myself, if I don't do this no one is going to do it for me. I summoned the courage and I put out the introductory post. It is important for you both to set meaningful goals with respect to Communication, trust & respect, quality time, personal growth, conflict resolution, finances, intimacy & romance, shared values & beliefs, family planning, etc. Couples who take the time to set meaningful goals together are those who thrive beautifully to the envy of others. Setting Relationship Goals reflects your growth mindset, a mindset that indicates that you are both willing to work on yourselves to grow, and as you grow, your relationship grows. Many marriages that have crashed today is as a result of lack of shared values or goals. And when shared values, goals or beliefs are missing, then the relationship itself will eventually fall. If you find that your marital relationship is strained, then you have both not been working together on the same page. To bridge the gap between you both, discuss with each other on the couple goals you can set for each other to bring each other together and facilitate your individual growth. Don't forget. SMART goals are time-bound. So allot time to your goals For example: Committing to spending quality time together at least once a week, whether it's going out for dinner, reading Qur'an together, or trying a new activity together. Or making a goal to show physical affection daily, whether it's through hugs, kisses, or cuddling, to maintain intimacy and connection in the relationship. Or deciding on what to do to calm each other down in a state of distress, anger or frustration like touch, kind words, open duas, acknowledgement & praises, gazing into the eyes, hug, etc. Or in the next 3-6 months, we want to achieve a certain goal together. When i started i had just fallen pregnant ( I didn’t do the test until after i had started oops). This course had everything. Mentors, support system, coaching, live calls and an online course. Step by step guides. But guess what.. for a number of reasons it was just not for me.. Did i feel down about it as i saw my friends rise to the challenge and gain great success. Absolutely. Did i give up ? Nope. Why ? Because success loves failure. Pivot but don’t give up. Changing direction can be a scary thing. It may feel like you’re giving up on your dream.
