SPECIAL ACTING WORKSHOP FOR KIDS AND TEENS EXPLORING DIFFERENT ACTING TECHNIQUES SIMPLIFIED FOR YOUNG ACTORS The workshop is about understanding all acting techniques to make the methods simpler and easier to adapt by the kid and teen actors. Young actors will explore and learn the tenets of how each technique will be performed and applied to an actual performance. Kids and Teens will discover the importance of learning acting from presentational, superficial, and performative styles to sense of realism, truthfulness, and contemporary approaches. Participants will appreciate and distinguish techniques of Stanislavski, Meisner, Strasberg, Adler, Chekhov, Hagen (Uta), Spolin (Viola) and Laban to a simplified form. These methods are recapitulated through the S.A.F.E Acting Technique, an action-emotion-action based acting approach created by Kids Acts Philippines' founder Luigi Nacario. The special acting workshop will be facilitated by Luigi Nacario, an Aliw Awards Winner for Best Stage Director in a Musical in 2018. He took special classes on Acting Techniques, Directing, Playwriting, and Choreography in New York City through Broadway Teachers Workshop under Broadway Teaching Group. He has been coaching singing and acting to kids and teens who were involved in school and professional stage plays and musicals.
