Sri Lanka was out of this world. I was supposed to go home at the end of January but was invited by the amazing @emanuelsiddhartha & @palomamonnappa @tropicalwaxsrilanka to come and play 4 parties @trax_ahangama @dotsbayhouse @the_doctors_house & @soulandsurfsrilanka which were without doubt some of the best parties I've ever played in my 26 years of DJing. Very pleased to announce @djsneak Consequential EP is out now on Vinyl at all outlets :-) I first worked with Sneak in 2008 on his 'House Beaters Vol 1 EP' on @huddtraxx - Sneak was one of the first DJs I saw @backtobasics_91 at the Mint Club in Leeds in the 90s and he absolutely blew my mind. His productions for me were always ace, as was his DJ style which have both influenced me over the years. When @doorlydj sent me about 50 Sneak tracks for this Hard Times release I couldn't believe how good all the tracks were considering the amount of them. Any label will tell you if you get loads of tracks you usually have to sift through them to find the gems, but no word of a lie, I wanted to sign most of them. However we managed to get them down to 4 tracks and its Classic Sneak all the way. Big thanks to Carlos for allowing us to release his music it's an honour. This has gone straight in to the top 10 @junorecords charts and thanks to them for the review as well as Matt @piccadillyrecords in my hometown Manchester.
