The @dotsforspots are ok. I like that they are invisible so you can just put it on at night, the adhesive is fine and sticks on nicely on the skin. I found only once the redness and size was reduced but after that did not really work other times. I’ll keep on trying as I have lots left and I don’t get that many spots and it’s not suitable for my hormonal acne.

🦠 ᴍᴇɢᴀ! 🦠 At this point the @dotsforspots ‘Pimple Patches’ are my best friends: reliable, calming, and always on hand in emergencies! 😆 The brand have now released their ‘Mega Dots’ which are a larger oval shape, and are infused with Niacinamide, Salicylic Acid, Witch Hazel and Tea Tree Oil 💪🏻 Like the rest of their line, these stickers are super thin, hardly detectable on the skin and stick down really well (they never come off in the night!)👌 I wasn’t sure how effective they would be, as I thought that only micro-dart patches could deliver active ingredients into breakouts? 🤔 However after testing one out I’m sure that it helped to calm redness and swelling, and sped up the healing process too! 🎉 I don’t know if this was a coincidence or a placebo effect, but I think it’s great to have these on hand for spots that need a bit of extra treatment! ⚡️ I wish they came in a mixture of sizes though, as it seemed a bit of a waste applying such a large sticker when I didn’t need it, and this would make them even more useful! 👀 You can get a pack of 10 for £12.99, so they aren’t too bad a price, but are more expensive due to the actives in them! 💧 #dotsforspots #pimplepatch #pimplepatches #spotstickers

Student advocacy was strong on the Canada-Wide Day of Action for Early Learning & Child Care, with student advocates bringing information and action to their communities on campus and participating in local events. At the Worth MORE! rally in Toronto, students took the stage to share how they are feeling about entering the ELCC sector amid a workforce crisis. Look through this post to see how ECE students and recent graduates across Ontario cared out loud about their chosen career. The Ontario government recently announced an increase of the wage floor for RECEs to $23.86/hour in 2024. While this is a significant improvement compared to the increase previously laid out in the province’s CWELCC rollout action plan, this wage increase is for RECEs only and it will benefit less than half of workers currently in the sector. Educators are leaving child care programs due to low pay and lack of support. As we build the foundations of the Canada-Wide Early Learning & Child Care system and deal with a major shortage of workers, it is extremely important to retain these new graduates with professional wages and supportive working conditions that allow them to stay in working in the field they are so passionate about. Their voices need to be heard. ECE students and faculty: we are stronger together - share @SECEOntario info with your peers and in your classes to connect with communities of pre-service educators in other regions of the province. On the last page of this post, we listed some of the ECE student groups we have connected with. 🟣 🟣 🟣Early Childhood Educators wearing #DotsforSpots as our advocacy work continues. These educators made day of action fun by having the children create the spots on their shirts. Children fostered their fine motor skills by holding the dabbers in the palmar grasp and dabbing the shirts. They had to use their muscles to press the dabbers down to create the circles. Children were observed to stay mostly in the same area on the shirts, while others tried to crawl onto the table to cover more empty areas on the shirts.

They called on all levels of government to find solutions to the current staff shortages and lack of spaces. Child care workers gathered in Saskatchewan, where the lack of spaces is critical.
