Cu cât este mai mare interesul față de viața social-politică și nivelul de activism civic, cu atât este mai mare cota de încredere a cetățenilor în instituțiile publice. Deși nouă din zece oameni cred că e important să fie onești, responsabili, independenți și utili comunității, doar fiecare al doilea consideră important să participe la activități de voluntariat, iar fiecare al treilea - să fie activ în politică și doar un sfert - să participe la acțiuni civice precum proteste și înaintarea de petiții către autoritățile publice. Predispunerea de a exercita o funcție politică este una scăzută, cu doar 4% din populație care afirmă ferm că și-ar dori aceasta. 67% dintre moldoveni nu și-ar dori să exercite o funcție politică. Acestea sunt câteva concluzii ale studiului sociologic privind cunoștințele în domeniul electoral și nivelul de implicare civică, prezentat pe 29 mai 2024. Cercetarea a fost efectuată de Centrul de Analiză şi Investigaţii Sociologice, Politologice și Psihologice CIVIS, în cadrul proiectului „Consolidarea democrației în Moldova prin alegeri incluzive și transparente”, implementat de PNUD, cu suportul financiar al Ambasadei Marii Britanii la Chișinău și Agenției Statelor Unite pentru Dezvoltare Internațională (USAID). Potrivit sondajului, populația generală a înregistrat un scor mediu al nivelului de informare despre politică și evenimentele actuale de 6 puncte din 10, persoanele cu dizabilități – 5,7 puncte și romii – 5,2 puncte, ceea ce reprezintă un nivel moderat. Persoanele cu nivel scăzut de interes sunt în special cele care aparțin grupurilor cu nivel scăzut de studii (37%) și venit (29%), minoritățile etnice (30%), persoane inactive civic (34%) și cu încredere scăzută în instituțiile publice și media (28%). 88% din respondenți sunt determinați să participe la alegeri având convingerea că votul lor contează. Top trei bariere, cu o pondere aproximativ egală, pentru neparticiparea la alegeri sunt: scepticismul față de schimbări spre bine a politicii autorităților (27%), aflarea în străinătate (26%) și lipsa de interes (23%). #undpmoldova #civiceducation @ukinmoldova

Mai 2024 als Praktikantin bei der Atlantischen Akademie tätig sein und bin im Zuge dessen bereit die Berufswelt zu erkunden sowie meinen Horizont zu erweitern. Dieses Jahr im März habe ich mein Abitur absolviert, wobei mein Interesse an der Politik in der Oberstufe mit Sozialkunde als Leistungsfach intensiviert wurde. Besonders spannend fand ich das Thema Internationale Politik, in welchem ich auch mein Abitur geschrieben habe. Mit den anderen Leistungsfächern Deutsch und Englisch ging auch eine automatische Begeisterung für Sprache und gesellschaftswissenschaftliche Fragen einher. 🤓 Da ich auch Amerikanerin bin und schon immer mit amerikanischer Politik und Kultur in Kontakt war, kann ich mir in der Zukunft vorstellen, ein Studium im Bereich der Politologie und Anglistik zu absolvieren. Diaz High School, Las Piñas National High School, Philippine Normal University, at Department of Education-Schools Division Office of Muntinlupa City. Sa workshop na ito, ni-review at inupdate ang PC Teacher's Guide 📖 at mga halimbawa ng aralin upang masiguro ang alignment ng mga ito sa MATATAG curriculum ng Department of Education (@depedphilippines). 👩🏫 Tinalakay din ang program design at mga stratehiya para sa mas epektibong pagpapatupad ng teacher training roll-out na makatutulong sa pag-deliver ng lessons focused on the important principles of civic education and Project Citizen processes. This Memorial Day is a time for the collective consciousness of this nation to recognize that it can’t not be clearer that we are at an existential crossroads in our political and civic lives. Therefore, it is incumbent upon all Americans this Memorial Day to pause and reflect on the following: We cannot survive as a democracy if only one party is willing to accept defeat. We will not keep our constitutional republic if Americans are willing to subvert election results to empower Donald Trump and his Republican Party. It is a sad fact that Trump has long dishonored the U.S. military by repeatedly disparaging the intelligence of service members, asking that wounded veterans be kept out of military parades, and insulting Americans who died in War ( fallen soldiers) by calling them “suckers” and “losers!” Memorial Day is a time to honor and mourn the U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the Armed Forces. As we reflect on our nation’s values, we recognize the sacrifices made by our Veterans and service members in defending our freedom. Trump’s strategy for the 2024 election is concerning. The use of the “firehose of falsehoods” propaganda technique is aimed at spreading repetitive lies to confuse people and discourage them from voting. This tactic, utilized by “influencers,” is evident in Trump’s consistent repetition of false claims, outside the courtroom. This Memorial Day, let us remember that the strength of our democracy lies in respecting election results and upholding our constitutional republic.
