. Cafe Suspiro is located along Folsom Street that offers coffee, records, and music related books. One thing I noticed about small coffee shops is they give off a different relaxing vibe. You don’t feel rushed getting your coffee as a chore. I always choose regular milk, so I tried oat milk on my Cappuccino and noticed a slight difference in taste, but the coffee’s strength is still there. I love both flavors and my taste buds added this new sensation in my memory. The Spinach Danish is a good pairing by the way. . I have been to Gram Cafe & Pancakes before when I had their Souffle Pancakes, it was delicious and eye catchy but there’s a 30-min waiting period. I came back to try their Strawberry Crepe Pancake which comes in a cup but I was surprised it took 20 minutes to make. It wasn’t a premium item nor was it good either. If I were to wait that long, I expect it to be amazing. But nope! There was a small pancake with only 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream, chopped strawberries, 3 pieces of walnuts, and half of the cup is just custard cream. It was a gigantic mess of unharmonized sweetness. Their savory treats might be faster, but I can’t help think the waiting period is the same. . . 💎 Have you been here before? Have you ever heard of a Korean snack called a “wheel cake” or “wheel pie” 😯?! Well, I’ve been wanting to try a wheel cake for awhile now and recently found out @dotsmilktea sells wheel cakes and other items like boba, egg puffs, and even rice bowls too 😋! The Wheel Pie Combo allowed me to choose my choice of 4 different wheel cakes. I ended up choosing the Corn & Cheese, Egg Custard, Salty Egg & Pork Floss, and the Nutella & Oreo flavors. . I got invited for the first time!!! 😱🤗 Ritual Coffee Roasters reached out to try their signature drinks for May. I was ecstatic when they messaged me because I never had anyone invite me to their coffee shops AND I really am a sucker for signature drinks so I was all in! 🤗 They asked which location I would want to visit in San Francisco, and I instantly thought of their first store along Valencia Street that opened in 2005! A significant first to my first is only befitting for a glorious day! 🤗🤗🤗 Ritual Coffee have concocted these three delicious signature drinks for May: 🔹Chinatown VIP A Hong Kong coffee milk tea with coffee, chrysanthemum infused black tea, and condensed milk. A drink in collaboration with Chef Kathy Fang @chefkathyfang 🔹OMFG A vanilla cardamon latte brought back on popular demand. 🔹Cherry Bomb Consists of cold brew, dark berry gerandine, tonic, and a cherry on top. I chose Chinatown VIP because I never had a mixture of coffee, black tea, and condensed milk all in one serving. The flavors were good as the black tea gave a little kick of flavor and scent after each sip. . I went to La Lucha Coffee at Noe Valley where I met up with @alfredrosanes. We chose this spot because we haven’t been here before and he wanted to see how I review a coffee shop—starting with me taking photos of my food. The Cappuccino is pretty decent with mild strength while the Chocolate Croissant was a fair pairing on such a nice day. They asked if I wanted it heated up which I obliged, and frankly, this was the first time I ever had my pastry heated up so it was sweet of them to do so. . Sweet Glory was one of the first posts I did when I created Cafe Hunter SF. The feeling of chilling in a cafe and let the day go by with the comfort of a hot beverage and sweets is something I enjoyed doing. It inspired me to explore other cafes in San Francisco. I wasn’t able to showcase Sweet Glory the way I did to the new ones, so let me reintroduce them to you! Sweet Glory is known for their crepe cakes and beverages. They got the whole vibe going from its cozy atmosphere all the way to the food, and plates and utensils. The Cappuccino has a good creamy texture while the Pandan Coconut Mille Crepe Cake is a multi-layered symphony of sweetness. And if you pay close attention to the crepe cake, it relies mainly on its two biggest ingredients: the Pandan and Coconut. The crepe is made from pandan, the custard and cream is a mixture of both, a coconut meat sauce on the side, and tiny bits of roasted coconut sprinkled on top of the custard! It’s just mind-blowing on how well-thought off this crepe cake is! Sweet Glory got a couple more drinks and cakes for you to try. 📍 @acekingnewark I love Chinese skewers so I’m always on the hunt for delicious skewer spots here in the Bay Area! Ace King BBQ is so yummy and I love the variety of meats & seafood offered. This place is perfect to spend with family & friends! Don’t be fooled.. with the variety of skewers, appetizers, and entrees you will get extremely full!! My boyfriend and I got excited and ordered a little too much but the variety of options are endless and just brings the whole meal together!! Our fave was the scallops, fried rice, beef skewers, smashed cucumbers, and tripe!! I definitely recommend you check this spot out if you’re looking to try a new skewer spot! . I went to Outset Coffee’s first location along Valencia Street and it had an upgrade of stool seating inside which is cohesive to their new location at downtown. I got their Orange Americano which contains a shot of espresso, orange juice and syrup, and jasmine green tea. . I went to Le Marais Bakery’s lesser popular location at Sutter Street which is their commissary for pastries. The spot focuses more on coffee and bakery rather than their crepes so if you do want some crepes then head to their bistro location at Castro or sibling cafe @grandecreperie at the Ferry Building. There’s so many tasty pastries to try but I veered out of the norm and chose a lesser popular item, their Parisian Vanilla Flan. And it was phenomenal! I had no idea how a thick flan can offer so much while humbly giving off light sweetness. It was a perfect combination for my cappuccino! Do you like restaurants with unique appetizers 😯?! @oburamenhouse is one of them and they sell ramen, rice bowls, yummy appetizers, and a bunch of cocktails too 😍! This ramen place allows you to pick what type of noodles you want, which I though that is so cool 😍! Of course, I had to get my thick noodles since I love chewy noodles 😋. . I want to have an aesthetic vibe with my photos but in reality, I’m always hungry when I visit cafes and would value what I eat over what it would look on my posts. So with that in mind, I went to Pixlcat Coffee’s first location to get a Cappuccino and their Breakfast Sandwich. The cappuccino was superb while the breakfast sandwich was very, very CHUNKY! It was so big that it’s not meant to be eaten with bare hands. I had to get utensils to make it through all the goodness of the egg, cheese, avocado, bacon, and sausage. . I always knew Juniper Cafe was along Polk Street but didn’t realize I passed by it all the time. They’re a bakery of sweet and savory pastries and offers coffee from their sibling company: Saint Frank. I haven’t had breakfast, so I opted for their Mushroom Danish paired with a strong Cappuccino. The pastry is crunchy for me to finish the crumbs. If you ever come by Juniper Cafe on a sunny day, expect lots of beautiful shadows. . I accidentally went inside the Law Cafe thinking SPRO Coffee Lab’s new spot is there but they’re located inside UC Law of San Francisco’s newest building! I already fell in-love with the big windows but on a corner? It’s magical! I had the luxury of trying their delicious cappuccino and fresh tuna sandwich to which the students of UC Law find it delightful as well. SPRO’s friendly staff know how to treat their customers well. Stopped by after a weekend trip in Tahoe and had to try Vinhouse for the first time with my friends! I had a sip of the egg coffee and it was good! My friend really liked his Phin 88 as well! Not pictured: I got the Phin 85 and I was super excited for it but was a bit disappointed with how it came out. It had a weird sour taste that I couldn’t even finish half of the cup unfortunately. I wanted to love it so bad. My boyfriend did get the Vinhouse milk tea and that was delicious! Aesthetic was cute and clean.

. Telescope Coffee has moved to a bigger space at SOMA to accompany their growing business. I had their Cappuccino which was good and buttery on the lighter strength, while the Ube Cookie was dry on the edges, but it does get gooey in the middle. I was a bit confused with the vibe of the coffee shop because the seats and tables were not cohesive. Some were wood and the rest was plastic; there was a disconnect that I couldn’t find words to. 📍Hong Dae Pocha Kimchi Bosam is a game changer…this has easily become one of my fav Korean dishes 🤭 I love this place! They sell more of a Korean street style of food anddd they have raw marinated crabs 🦀I’ve been dying to try raw marinated crabs after seeing it in SOO many kdramas 😆😆 it was soo creamy and tasty, but a little spicy!! . Keiko’s Coffee Shop is a newly opened spot along Mission Street that for a small store, serves a selection of food and drinks. Their Specialty Dulce de Leche Latte is a delicious drink that I would come back for, while their Croissant Sandwich containing Egg, Provolone, and Sausage was delicious too, but it was missing either a spice and/or a special sauce; something to hold it together. I love the white noise coming from the passing vehicles. If you pay close attention to it, it’s relaxing.
