Thank you Asian Literary Society for an amazing poetry writing month. This is the second year that I have managed 30 poems in 30 days. Feels great to feature on the list. Thank you Vandana Bhasin ma’am for the intriguing and thought provoking prompts throughout the month. It got us creative and I particularly looked forward to a new prompt every morning. I'd remind myself that setbacks were stepping stones to success I'd do all these if I were young again.

Unable to do his walk in the morning his knees are paining and not allowing Once belonging to a high society Office,club and parties,have lost their priority Thanks to the modern invention, morning puja is done on bhakti channel Traveling distant places on Discovery Enjoying flora and fauna in Animal channel His most favourite is to watch the Sports channel.

They say go on doing your duty their fruits may follow automatically but often I have failed. Carrying on plans sincerely yet my dreams unfulfilled makes me feel wretched Frequent self inquiry made me realise though we have the right to work the result is given by someone else. We all come as empty clay pots, holding nothing of our own, Whoever fills, draws the contents, what is here to own? Sometimes cracks empty us, sometimes we totally break, Empty we come and empty we'll leave, nothing along we take. The space within merges in space, and water in water, All elements shaped to hold someone's desire, return emptied to the potter. The elements don't belong to us, the shape the potter's whim, Yet we hold the ego of form and endless desires within. If we get to know this truth, that we are nothing and nothing belongs to us, Would life be different or would it be just another content within these pots? ✏️ Jyoti Prateek
#alsnapowrimo2024 #day20 Sadhab-bohu. ************** Those blissful days of childhood how I enjoyed playing with those red velvety mites called sadhab-bohu. The harmless mites they never did bite were visible on rainy season creeping on grassy ground in plenty. Collecting them in my little palm I used to keep them in jars. My friend Reena told me one day if they are put inside vermillion then they became more red. So in a rainy day I put some in my mother's sindoor dan. After her bath when mom came and opened it to put a bindi she got startled and knew it was my naughty prank.

#alsnapowrimo2024 #day17 Bela sat with books on table, she was trying to get nice words to write a poem. Suddenly the light went off the caretaker put a candle on. The moon on sky looked beautiful birds fluttered from nearby bush. The ambiance was perfect, wind blew from the river, Bela's eyes fell on her ring, her fiance was away,in Europe her eyes got moist. Brooding about him and the joyful moments with him the evening turned into dawn, but no peace.

But the sight of the elderly couple doing brisk walk brightens my morning and gives a positive vive for my walk. Their contented faces their lovely smiles, reflects their love for each other and their happy married life.

She grew up to be a woman got married and had children burdened wth work and responsibilities she forgot herself. At old-age her nest is empty grown up and educated the children all flew away now she has time with her in plenty. Taking care of herself she realised the pleasure of self love, and she deserves kindness and compassion, just as much as anyone else.

Let me sit and watch, what's going beyond my balcony. The people going on road most of them talking on phone. Not going to cook today order it and enjoy it to the full. Taking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday my lazy day is going nice today.

"I am great ,I allow to see and give visual information".shouted the Sight. "Nah ,I give sound and without it men would be deaf and dumb for sure" said Hearing. Taste arrived and said,"foodies love me and without me life is he'll." The nose sneezed and babbled "I send you scents and the aroma soothes each one's nerves." "The mother sings and her touch makes the baby sleep ,I am here to spread the love", boasted the Touch.
