Ya os dije que fue un “cvcq” de unos que se tejió Marta, así que este mes he aprovechado un patrón que tenía en mi biblioteca de Ravelry y una madeja del stash. Nada mal!!!😉 Son muy distraídos de tejer, crean estas trenzas con aumentos y disminuciones, sin aguja auxiliar. Eso sí, no he conseguido tejerlos juntos😳 Y en cuanto a mi reto personal de leer mínimo un libro al mes, reto al que os habéis unido algunas y me hace muy feliz, este mes he contribuido con 3 libros!!!🥳🥳🥳 Los veréis en la segunda foto➡️ Son las entregas 2, 3 y 4 de la saga Blackwater a la que estoy enganchada gracias a @marionacb ❤️ No esperéis una gran literatura, pero son pequeñitos, ideales para llevar en el bolso y leer en cualquier parte. Y la historia engancha! El autor los concebió como 6 entregas que salían cada 15 días, tipo fascículos, y tiene estas portadas taaaan chulas, que te gustan sí o sí. Y te encariñas de Elinor, de Frances, de James, hasta de Mary-Love y de Miriam🤭 Nada, que os los recomiendo!!!

Progress on my Indian Nights blanket, pattern by @jenisehopeknits I decided to work the long elephant and birds strips straight from the squares they're supposed to be assembled to. This is making the process super smooth and I'm loving it ! Still wondering what to do with the border. I'd prefer to crochet it but since it still needs to emprison the steeked edges, I'm trying to see if there would be a practical solution. Well, I have lots of time to figure it out ! . There are few happenings that bring me more joy than a fiber festival. Today, I had the pleasure of attending the @masheepwoolcraftfair. It is a perfect sunny, warm day and a delight to return to the heart of my craft practice after what has felt like a long run of work-related stress. A good reminder that our personal practices are always there to offer solace and refuge. 🐑🙏 I placed an order for a batch of hand-spun yarn from @sadiespinsyarn. My aunt, a master knitter, has agreed to make me a much longed-for fisherman’s cardigan. Now that I have the yarn, I will be seeking out wampum buttons. I took a break from designing for a while focusing on my writing and just day to day life with being a muma, wife, teacher and chronically ill. While I continue to work on writing the scarf pattern I’ve been working away on a new shawl design so far I’m re-doing my original sketch shown in the photo. I’m re doing it because it was a hurried sketch and notes during a Christian artist master class a few years ago where I brain dumped everything down. It was really good but now I want to make sure I have all the little details for each step my knitting mentor taught me. I’ve found the yarn to knit the swatch and sample up in, it took a while to find a few different shades of yellow and was quite the hunt foraging for them. I’m continuing to learn about shawl construction by going over old notes on shawls I learnt in knitting design class, looking at videos and deciding how I want the shawl to look, drape etc. While the Scripture Finder prays and finds a scripture before we add it to the pattern working it into the story. This time one came to me during the class but I’m going to ask her opinion on it before we use it as I want to make sure it fits in well. Perhaps it will or maybe it was meant for me during that class and something I needed to hear or perhaps it’s both. Me distraen mucho las construcciones distintas que luego dan como resultado un proyecto “sencillo” sin demasiadas cargas visuales.
