Sunday vibes 🧶🧁🍹. Only a couple of rows and this amazing top will be ready. The design is the #TikvaTop by @lydiarhabarber and it is currently in testing (and by the way I am so honored to be part of this #testknit 🥹). The yarn I am using is #knittingforolivecottonmerino in the color ocher brown. This color is definitely outside my comfort zone but I wanted to try something different for once. Another #ImpactDress almost off the hook ✨️ . Sooooooo it would've been done last night after 4ish hours of marathon crocheting, but I accidentally did the overlapped edging on the left leg slit backwards............ so I've spent this morning redoing it properly, so that it matches the right side 🥲🥲🥲 . not gonna lie, when I realized my mistake after getting literally 99% through that edging, I straight up just got up from my couch and went to bed bc I was so mad at myself for not catching it sooner 😂 ragequitting crochet is absolutely a real thing for me LMAOOOO, how about you? . Even though it gave me such a headache last night/this morning, the overlapping edging is my favourite detail on this dress tbh & I'm really proud of it 🥹 imo it gives so much extra dimension to the garment & makes it look super polished! You can see a baby peekaboo of it in this photo but it's showcased best when the dress is worn. I'm a big ol' fan of bodycon dresses having leg slits because of the freedom of movement they give 🧡 . This sample also has built in waist ties, which is a new addition to the original design from last year! They're optional in the pattern, but easy to incorporate if you want the ability to further tighten the dress around your waist when wearing it. I cannot wait to finish and block this dress to show you the final results! . Here‘s a little reminder - for myself - that knitting is slow and that we are creating slow fashion. I know quite a few of you are waiting for the update of my Intarsia Top knitting pattern, but it will still take some time. After creating and knitting with a lot of pressure the past months, I want to slow down this summer and take more time to enjoy the process. And I need to finish my secret project first, to get my head free for new projects. These are the bits I‘ve been working on this week: 🧶 I’ve been swatching with the new @pru_yarns Eco Lynn base in 3 vibrant shades. 🍑 I unravelled a never conpleted crochet bandana to gain more of the beautiful @fibers.and.pigments yarn so that I can finish my @helenawieser_knit #wigglyscarf 🟠 I‘ve closed the side seams of the Intarsia Top, soaked it and blocked it - so all that‘s missing is sewing together the straps, creating charts for 9 sizes and updating the knitting pattern. 🌞 I‘ve been sorting my handpainted collage papers to create some Intarsia Tops collage schematics. 🟡 I‘ve been knitting a few rows on my secret leftover yarn project. 🌝 I made a test dye of my recycled cotton yarn using @simplicol_de as I want to create new colourful machine knit I-cord purses later this summer. #contemporaryknitting #colorplay #knitspiration #nevernotknitting #intarsiaknitting #intarsiaknit #summerknits #summerknittops #knittingwithleftovers

Es geschehen noch Wunder 😂 ich habe tatsächlich #maschenproben gestrickt. Das gabs glaube ich bei mir noch nie. Ich möchte mir das tolle #sabaitop von @paulastrickt stricken. Ich dachte ich hätte nichts passendes in meinem #stash. Heute morgen dann die Drops Belle und die Drops Muskat geordert. Aber es ließ mir keine Ruhe..Ich habe doch tatsächlich 4...Ja 4 passende Garne zuhause🫣 ok die Farben die dann kommen sind zum Glück anders. 😬 Das Graublau ist eine Baumwolle Schurwolle viscose. Und hat eine Masche mehr. Das Nachtblau eine Merino Baumwolle passt perfekt. Das vanille Baumwolle Polyamid passt auch aber ist ein Flame und gefällt mir jetzt hierfür nicht ganz so gut. Und die hellgrau Baumwolle Leinen viskose passt auch super. Ist auch ähnlich wie die Belle von der Zusammensetzung. Ich glaube fange mal mit dem nachtblau mal an, gefällt mir sehr gut und mir fehlt das im Kleiderschrank. 💙 Aber zuerst werden noch ein paar Socken verpaart. Die Anleitung soll ab Größe 50/56 bis Größe 134/140 gehen, also von Brustumfang 45cm bis 68cm (am Kind gemessen). Jedna bluzeczka skończona, więc czas na kolejną. Tym razem planuję wykorzystać Tynn Line, które od dłuższego czasu czeka na swoją kolej i o dziwno powstanie z niej to co pierwotnie zaplanowałam, czyli Blue Sky od @comfortzoneknits. Różnica jest tylko taka, że będę ją robiła według najnowszej wersji tego wzoru, która aktualnie się testuje. To moje drugie podejście do tej włóczki i zobaczymy czy będę miała lepsze odczucia. Pierwsze nie były złe, ale zdecydowanie sama włóczka mnie nie zachwyciła, bo dzianina wyszła dość luźna. Ale może po roku przerwy tym razem pójdzie mi lepiej, kto wie. Na razie z pewnością cieszę się na tą prostą, ale pełna uroku bluzeczkę. A co tam u Was na drutach? . #memademay day 19, and I'm outdoors in the sun reknitting my yellow sommer top. This blue #cumulustee is all finished, though, and a classic and a favorite. If I make another one, I think I may choose a smaller size for the shoulders, as the raglan lines aren't quite where I want them to be. My very first summer knit and let’s just say I’m not at all disappointed!😍My first time working with line too and I really love the results though I wish it were a bit more affordable and that more people made it…🥲 It seems like everyone blends it with wool which I don’t like at all.., oh well this one is amazing both in the hand and the color! @dererumnatura has such an amazing array of tasteful unique colors that I want to add them all to my wardrobe! This summer I have decided is the summer I knit alllll the spring/summer knits! Usually when the heat comes my knitting motivation dies with it, but not so far this year. I decided to prolong my knitting stamina in the heat I would focus of light knits alone, so an occasional baby knit since it is small, but mostly all the tee’s, socks, and top’s, knit in mostly linen, cotton, silk or a blend of cotton and linen.. I am very excited!
