The Atlas Of Great Journeys 🧭 When the soul is restless, the mind wanders. And here I am wandering into a hand painted map with @marinmontagut paint palette I bought in Paris. I love exploring vibrant colors and learning how to melt the shades. Can you tell that this page is inspired by vintage children’s illustrations? In other news, I am excited to reveal the grid rubber stamp inspired by vintage charts, coming soon to @skybambi_stationery! Many things in the pipeline and honestly quite overwhelmed as to how to launch them but am trying to not overthink and “get over myself”. I’ve been watching a lot of Tim Holtz on YouTube and it’s like learning new tricks while getting a pep talk! Moving along…. Id like to point your direction to the middle of the page. There’s a reason for this and the reason is that the pages of my Moleskine are slowly coming apart, revealing an unsightly gap between the pages. So I used a sticky tape I made a while back (using alcohol ink and stamps), to decorate and bind the gap together. I made a bunch of them and stored them in a sticker book. I love when the things I hoard finally come in handy! I hope everyone’s having a lovely week so far. These are thee details of each page of my last reel from the challenge organised by @lau_marasi and @anton.creative.design that asked for a layout made with book pages and embroadery lace. Here I wanted to show you how I made it with a base of 3 different vintage book pages that I covered with a lovely original medecine vintage advert and finally decorated these pages with stickers, washi tape and the lovely vintage lace. So what do you think? I hope you enjoy it and ❤️🛎 to support me. Also fitting the lovely challenge from @lore_artjournal for April in which she asked for blue 💙and bees. So here I wanted to share these pages with a lot of blue items🩵 including a big bee🤩. What do you think of this idea?
