TRUST - Do you see it? I was given the key to a brand new yoga location last week. 🔑 The leadership of this church trusted me enough to give me a key and the security code to their building. 🔐 This is not new for me 🗝️ as many churches across 3 counties have been trusting me to lead yoga practices in their buildings for almost 14 years. By giving me keys and trusting I will care for their property … and more importantly, that I will care for Gods people there 🙏🏽 they are trusting I will guide my yoga clients towards closer, more intimate communication with God through this Christ-centered yoga practice. And those who attend are trusting me IMMENSELY- this is so precious to me as I’ve been given a key to their 🫀hearts… I’ve been given access to their joys, tears, strengths, and fears. When we participate in Advent during the Christmas season we are intentionally celebrating Christ’s birth as well as looking forward to His second coming. On Sunday, December 10 at 2pm we will gather for a 75-minute Gentle Christ-centered Yoga Practice with our intention set on preparing our hearts for the coming King. Your $20 fee includes your yoga practice and a special Christmas gift. Pre-registration is required. FATHERS DAY: First pic: These are my babies. Ok 😏 Clearly, they’re not babies anymore. They’re all grown now - and my daughters have babies of their own. No matter what life brings, how much time passes, how old they get, how many miles separate, or how much they may appear to “miss the mark,” this parent’s love is never diminished. If you’re a parent you know the heart explosion that happened when you first knew your child... whether biological or adopted, being a parent teaches us just a bit of the kind of love our Heavenly Father has for us. 2nd pic: Since my earthly father chose not to be present and left his family, my brothers and I grew up without a Dad. Trusting a father figure & saying “Happy Fathers Day” wasn’t part of our experience in life. None of us. Ever. So, when I met Jesus Christ at 20 yrs old, “God The Father” was a tough concept for me to grasp... I wrestled with that for years. But now? Now, I know I’m protected and looked after by my Father who adores me and richly blesses me. Even when I miss the mark. I pray that I honor Him today & EVERY day... He is my Everything, Elohim, My Father 🙏🏽💗 Happy Fathers Day, Abba. Thank you. DOUBTING THOMAS It’s not that Thomas didn’t believe. He already loved Jesus intimately. (Read John 20:24-30) Thomas was just a wounded and fearful believer. His doubts were his temptation and he briefly dove into his doubts. We’ve all done it - we’ve been tempted to swing into our fears, doubts, and emotional responses when hard things come.
