I’ve only been a fan of DPR IAN since March 27th this year and I'm so glad that I did become one! Getting to know more about Ian, I love his personality, his music, and how open he is about his mental health. I remember talking with E when DGI MV dropped, like how do I prove that the character we see in the 1st slide Mito? Like, it's not the form we usually see! Same thing in PB&T MV when we see the one wearing black with the glitter tears on the left cheek (Mito later lost his left eye ⁉️) @_miss_insanity_ already posted about him being an early version of Mito, which I also believe that. Just like how we've seen glimpses of a younger Insanity and different versions of him throughout the different timelines (and not just in PB&T but I'll leave that for a different post) we've actually seen both Mito and Insanity with different versions and timelines as well as the hybrids (yes there are 2 main ones, and maybe more to come, I'm thinking there's a full spectrum range of characters). Back to the main point here (sorry, my brain is all over the place 😅) Why I couldn't prove that the one in the first slide is Mito? even though he has the same gloves in SID MV and 2 red eyes plus wearing black with a red tie. Well, I had a very faint idea for a hybrid, but I didn't know what to call it 🤔😵💫 And what really intrigued me to make this whole post was the smoking scene intro, as we know the character who smokes is MITO❗️and it really reminded me of that scene in So Beautiful (2nd slide) especially that we don't see the faces only the backs, which I think it translates to a transformation being complete!! So we have 2 hybrids, we have Mito coming from Insanity and we have Insanity coming from mito. It might be more confusing now, but it has been going on since the very beginning. The Sacred Heart pendent I wanted to wait until the MV drops to write about this, but my inner mermaid couldn't hold it (if you notice, I always use the mermaid emoji as a signature). The starfish on the sacred heart pendent really caught my attention (and yes, as a mermaid who loves sea creatures lol, I believe it's a starfish as the edges on each leg are a bit raised). This pendant has so much to cover up 😭 I wanted to talk about the star only but couldn't ignore the rest 😭 (I've been working on this for like 3 hrs 😭😭) So I'll talk about each element separately (in the slides) and the connection with other elements and what they represent in the character and the story. Mainly, it represents protection, but against who?
