Kundalini works through the Prana, the vital force in the body, and through the pranic channels called Nadis. Most yogic traditions describe the action of Kundalini as a rising movement, where the energy flows upward through a subtle channel called the sushumná Nadi (running from the base of the spine to the crown of the head). But it also flows with the vital force throughout the body, removing blockages from the physical nervous system as well as from the energy channels. When Kundalini is working within the body, it may create a variety of physical and psychological effects. Psychologically, the activity of Kundalini gives power to any practice or discipline - whether that is meditation, yoga, creative arts or inner work. This power may be felt as a direct sense of being blessed, inspired, or transformed from within, as fears fall away, and higher emotions like love and courage arise. This is one reason why I am so passionate about this.. Because Kundalini can dramatically increase your spiritual aspiration and capacity for practice. It may also bring up buried emotions or memories, causing emotional turmoil and upheaval but giving you the opportunity to face them directly. The awakened energy supports any therepuetic practice you use to clear psychological blocks, beliefs and personal traumas (this is exactly what we do in Kundalini Bodywork). Other effects that may arise are spontaneous meditative states, along with spiritual insights and a new level of philosophical understanding, creativity and open-heartedness. We ARE, and we MUST realise we are FULLY ACCOUNTABLE for our EXPERIENCES and MANIFESTATIONS. We are FULLY the DIRECTOR of our experiences. It is not more direct or simple than this. Living CONSCIOUSLY - being aware of our Thoughts, Emotions, Speech, Vibration.... is a part of Evolution. A part of Human Development, of Character and Growth. If we understand this, we will naturally be internally be guided to be in the FLOW. To CHOOSE things that are in the DIRECTION of where we want to go, ie what we want to FEEL. This also means prioritising LIVING life. Not getting addicted to: problem fixing, problem focusing, constantly looking for what is NOT going well. Always looking for themes to fix, ancestors to adjust, areas to repair. This is the constant risk that all of us in personal growth has to balance... when it is so easy to become workshop and practice junkies. Without awareness and discipline, it is literally NO different from any other addiction.... the same default pattern how billions of the masses live... focusing on what's blinking for attention. What happens if you ignore an emotional trigger in your leadership position? Let’s clarify what an emotional trigger is. An emotional trigger is when you find yourself in a conversation or situation, and you feel either angry, frustrated, disempowered, or simply emotionally affected in a negative way by the situation. Most people ignore this and they carry on without addressing it. My advice is to not ignore it - instead look at why are you feeling triggered by this? This is where the inner work start. In a situation like this, I recommend you find some peace and quiet and start writing in your notepad or journal, the feelings that you are feeling. Get it off your chest. This is step one. To go deeper on this, I would if you were my Client, delve into your subconscious together with you. And we will find the root cause and the root trauma which is activating this trigger. Often is something quite small. That is called a micro trauma. It can be big also. In our work together, I will release the trauma for you and we will re-program your subconscious mind to react differently when this exact situation happens again. You are finally released. This creates enormous emotional freedom and expansion energetically for you. What happens when we keep ignoring the emotional triggers? If the trauma is deep, and you keep ignoring it, it may manifest as a physical ailment. Some examples can be gut problems, migraines, allergic reactions, constipation, anxiety, feeling highly stressed, and ‘snapping’ at your loved ones. The list is endless. And the symptoms can be much more severe than the above also. And some people don’t manifest physical ailments at all.
