❌ Sometimes we choose to invest in others or ideas that don’t align with what we truly feel. Or feel guilty for investing in ourselves out of fear of being selfish or inconsiderate.
🚙 However if we look at ourselves like a vehicle… If we don’t maintain and invest in the vehicle, it can only run so many miles till it breaks down. With a vehicle, we can go places we’ve never seen before, carry others with us and support our endeavors along the way.
🪞Investing in ourselves can be through reading an old book, hygiene, listening to old songs you’ve grown up with, sitting in the present moment outside, reconnecting with old hobbies or parenting yourself through “it’s going to be okay, I’m here for you”.
🌱 Investment isn’t only through material means. You are worth the investment, you are worth the time and effort & you are worth growth. You got this! It all starts and ends with you
