Jason Michelin, creator of “Inuitsy,” and other Inuit-empowering entrepreneurial projects, has had an eventful journey in his 12 years of being a solo entrepreneur.
While he has been bursting with ideas and creativity, a lack of Inuit-specific supports for entrepreneurs has slowed progress on many of his projects and created countless barriers to success, a common experience among Inuk entrepreneurs. Despite this, Michelin has refused to give up and continues to push forward, spurred by his entrepreneurial spirit.
