Thank you to the judges of the @toledomuseum of Art’s poetry contest for honoring my poem “Birthmark”, a poem inspired by Maya Lin’s “Silver Erie.” All the awarded poets will have their poems showcase next to the art very soon. If you know me, having a poem of mine next to a work of art I adore is my version of winning the lottery.
