It’s been nearly 2 weeks since running the Hydra 50k and I still can’t get over how much of a great time it was! The heat came out in full force and so we needed to slow it down, but at the end of the day you just gotta keep moving. We hit the pain cave a little over halfway in, and it’s always a moment I look forward to. That feeling of being in the worst moment, wanting to quit, but sticking with it, and coming out on the other side feeling good is an experience I’m always grateful for. I’m looking forward to that next chance to hit the pain cave. Thanks again to @theultrarunningguys for hosting such an incredible race and for creating such a great ultra community here in Wilmington.
