Happy 35th Birthday Disney’s Hollywood Studios…the park where I grew up learning to draw our favorite characters and got to hang out with Bear in the Big Blue House, to knowing an entire restaurant menu by heart and having specific shows that “require” a Mickey bar while you watch them. The park that I watched its name change OVERNIGHT! This is the park where I could honestly just sit on a bench with a Mickey Bar in one hand and a cherry coke in the other listening to the music and be perfectly content.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios takes us to the Hollywood that never was. We get to play in Andy’s backyard with Woody and the gang, travel to a Galaxy far far away, and most importantly back in time to Mom’s kitchen in the 1950s.
Every park is my favorite for different reasons. Studios? It’s home. Home to my favorite show, favorite restaurant and former home to my favorite ride.
