BOOKS FOR MOTHER’S DAY 📚 I of course believe that mothers should be celebrated every day, but with Mother’s Day around the corner I wanted to take the opportunity to share some of my favorite mom books.
📚 This list has been carefully crafted over the past couple of years, but I added two newer books to the list recently.
📚 MAMA AND MOMMY AND ME IN THE MIDDLE by @nina_lacour and @kaylanijuanita is a beautiful book about a little girl who has to spend a week away from one of her parents. Mommy heads off on a work trip and while Mama tries to fill the time and void, she still feels big feelings about the absence. I think this is such a relatable topic for so many families and it is addressed with such warmth and care on these pages.
📚 THE MOMMIES ON THE BUS by Hannah Eliot and @airinocallaghan take a familiar tune and adds new words. Moms and kids alike will relate to the words, pictures and experience of riding the bus. Cheerful, humorous, and in a chunky board book format.
