MY TRUE LOVE: A PERFECT MUSICAL FAIRYTALE is an award-winning musical comedy from Ben Boecker. In this zany Off-Broadway show, we meet Cedarella, a witch who dreams of being a princess. She loves reading fairytales in her favorite storybook, and she dreams of meeting her perfect fairytale prince. However, her three fabulous aunts have a different plan for her! That’s when she decides to go on an adventure to find her one true love… but she learns that some of her assumptions may have been wrong.
MY TRUE LOVE is like a cross between Shrek and Enchanted, with a dash of Avenue Q. It’s hilarious and campy, and it also has a beautiful message about consent, diversity, and self-empowerment. Our show is suitable for all ages, but adults will love its humor and heart.
