Got a new book! While I may not need this field guide to identify the turkey feathers that the wild flock drops in my yard, it's gonna help me identify and learn about he countless other birds, insects, little critters and flowers I find both in my yard and on my travels walking the trails near my house. I spend so much of the spring and summer- and part of the autumn- out in the woods on nature walks or going on other adventures that I thought I could incorporate learning more about local wildlife both for practical and spiritual purposes. Because part of a magickal life is observing and connecting with the natural world. And I like to talk to the birds and the trees...
