Sorry if I sound like a broken record, but one of the things I want to try and build is a strong sense of community within Kentish Town and our business (customers and staff alike).
At @carrotsanddaikon, one of our greatest successes was creating a sense of community and belonging, which I value even more now since coming back from my travels away.
Because often or not community is overlooked and forgotten amid our busy work and home lives.
Even simple actions, like chatting with your cashier or engaging with others waiting in line to order, can help improve our moods and overall daily life greatly.
Because ultimately, what we all crave is that sense of community in our lives—people we can trust and who we can communicate with regularly to support one another.
This is something we often deeply desire but often hesitate to express as it may seem like we haven’t got our stuff together.
But honestly that’s never just the case, so hopefully when we do finally open @sikfaanuk, not only will you come for the great food and drinks but also being apart of a vibrant growing community too.
