On our #herosjourney , a meaningful change in a certain point of view can range from a small realization about ourselves, and the way we do things, to something infused with life altering power and potential that might send us on a whole new path of #adventure . It also can help us, to quote #obiwankenobi , step into a “much larger world.”🌎 As #christhile points out, in music, intensity can be expressed in various forms across different genres; we just might not realize that until we do.
Furthermore, amazing music channels the human condition no matter the time period (wether your #bach or #radiohead ), and as Chris relays, we can celebrate such genius all the same. Once we connect with that idea, we may look at different #musical #styles , across time, with more #appreciation and more #fullness .
This is but one way a change in perspective can help us deepen our appreciation of life on this here third rock from the sun. I know for me personally, “how” something was introduced, and the timing of such, as well as by the uniqueness of the certain individuals describing the new, were immense factors for helping change and expand my worldview in pretty much everything; from mathematics, music, and dancing, to philosophy, science, art, and spirituality. Never underestimate the power of how something new comes along your way, or when it happens, and by whom might be the messenger along your journey. Staying endlessly curious can be quite helpful as well, as it keeps us open and engaged with our experiences. As Chris reminds in his response to his critics who accused him of happily and freely celebrating when you “weren’t suppose to” with something amazing happening, he simply said, “then you weren’t listening!” Lol. It’s a great question to ask ourselves; “was I even trying to listen, and more deeply, was I free/or not?” We can expand this out on all sorts of levels.
