We all have an “it” or, like me, maybe you have many.
They may try and sometimes succeed in pulling me away from myself, but I’m reminded each time that happens, they are not me.
So, I’ll move my body or write or pull a tarot or call my mom or text a friend or snuggle a kitty….I take myself back each and every time because I have the power, not them. Not anymore, not ever.
I know each time I reach the top of the mountain, eventually I’ll go down….but then, once again, I’ll start to climb back up.
It’s the hike of my life, and I’m here for it all.
