In the past year, my family and I have come face to face with the challenges in life and left us feeling defeated. Though now, I can’t help but feel grateful for all that we have been taught during those unfair moments of life. MOMENTS OF DEFEAT TEACH A LIFETIME OF LESSONS. Defeat has taught us to be GRATEFUL for the everyday things. Grateful we have so many mouths to feed and so many places to be. Grateful to tuck healthy babies into bed every night with full bellies and dog tired from getting to play in the sunshine all day. Grateful for opportunities that knock on our door when we are feeling like all the doors have dead bolts on them.
