It has been quite a long time since I last traveled on a long journey with my parents. Recently, we went on a long trip and I observed several changes in my parents, especially in Amma.
Amma, who is usually a super active person, a multitasker, and a highly energetic woman, used to do all her work swiftly, walk fast, and never sit idle or appear tired.
However, I noticed that she now gets tired quickly, is unable to walk fast, struggles to stand for extended periods, and consumes only a minimal amount of food.
This made me realize that they are aging, which evoked a profound sense of sadness.
Throughout our lives, we have always known our parents to take care of us, but now the roles have reversed.
They too require rest, good care, and deserve to receive the same love they have showered upon us throughout their lives.
Remember, our parents gave us life, considered us their everything, and it is our duty to take care of them in return. Don’t forget to dedicate your time to them.
