Apollo 18 - There's A Reason Why We've Never Gone Back To The Moon
Space, while beautiful, has always terrified me. It's so empty, and goes on forever, and something about that really chills me. Not only that, but the thought of being stuck in space, unable to do anything about it also scares me. It's an incredibly irrational fear as I likely will never go into space, but it's still something that urks me, for some reason.
This film plays on that fear, and how truly scary extra terrestrial life could be. It starts out directly addressing the audience, making it known that what they're about to see is real footage, a la The Blair Witch Project.
This film is harrowing, to say the least.
