Don't you love this beautifully composed gallery wall in a Toronto home?

There are lovely works by Joh Del and Lara Feldman as well as some early 20thC historical paintings of Trovato in Wynberg, all nestling up with a littley of mine from my Plant Babies solo show last year.

I love the pops of yellow, and how the observation shifts from depictions of the natural world, to people. Gallery walls are all about placement and this one, for me, asks the question of our human place within and as part of the natural world.

It also places the art lover as creator and composer of a larger image.

I am deeply in love with the controlled and considered ochres of the two paintings alongside mine. They certainly cut the mustard (cringe pun ;-) - don't you love this too? And what do you observe? Please tag me on a post of your gallery wall at home, if you have one?
