This is a comic that featured the Samurai Slasher, a horror movie style character who features in some other comics. This particular issue is through the eyes of a young boy who is introduced to the films by his father, and as he grows up and realises life, and in particular, his father, isn’t all he’d thought he was, he tackles his worries, pain and confusion through the escapist lens of the Samurai Slasher mythology.
This comic is really great to look at (Lukasz Kowalczuk is an excellent artist), easy to read, and also thought provoking. It will thrill you and tug on your heart stings, and stay with you for a while after you’ve finished reading!
