Parents of today need to be more involved in their children learning there is no excuse. School is not a "babysitter". That means attending back to school night, all parent teacher conferences, checking homework daily, joining parent/teacher association, reading and evaluating standardized test scores, making sure they are prepared, pencils, pens, paper, ect. If you are not doing this for all your children no amount of year round school is going to help. How many of you participated in your children learning?
