As much as Mainstream Wicca does this, I do my best to keep my personal experiences close to the chest. Old Magick isn't all fun and games. It's beautiful, yes, but it's also dangerous if uncontrolled.
What are you talking about? Magic isn't dangerous. It's not real.

☆ Magick is real. Reiki is part of it, and its healing is amazing. Its sideand after effects if not properly discharged are brutal... diarrhea, nausea, cramping, migraine ... 🙋🏻♀️🫣 Guilty!
☆ Magick is real. When someone curses you, your life can become chaotic, unfocused, more vulnerable to illness, financial issues, emotional instability... and that's when you turn to...
☆ Magick is real. I've witnessed spiritual healing via Reiki and Shamanism, crystal and sound healing. Folks would go into a session hunched over, stressed, confused, exhausted and come out standing straighter, smiling, focused, and rejuvenated.
Much of mainstream magic have become for-profit. I get it. We all need to make monies because monies make the world go around. It's one thing to earn a living and one thing to welcome people into a world that is more dangerous than the tangible world.
Beware of anyone inviting you to open your Intuition, your 3rd Eye, and/or your link to the Lower World with a fine print of "I'll teach you how to control and use it for a small course fee of $XXX."
