This photo was taken at one of my lectures at the Museo di Scienze Naturali dell'Alto Adige, in Bolzano / Bozen, Italy in December 2018. Over the past 25 years I have given over 200 lectures on sharks at universities, museums, diving associations, yacht clubs and other organizations in 18 Countries, including Italy, France, Monaco, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, South Africa, Maldives, United Arab Emirates, Argentina, Mexico and South Australia. The venues included many prestigious scientific institutions such as the universities of Milan, Naples, Leiden and Budapest, the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco, the Oceanographic Institute of Paris, the Natural History Museums of Vienna, Prague, Madrid, Cape Town, Milan, Bolzano and Trento.
In October 2024 I'll do another tour of lectures on great white sharks in several cities of Europe. Dates in Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Austria and France are already confirmed and will be announced at a later stage.
