The Blue Lagoon at Oeluedeniz is a resort town/ former village where the Mediterranean meets the Aegean Sea. Crystal clear water, pebble beach. This is how it looks at 9 am. Almost totally empty. At 11 am/ noon a crowd of about 3-5000 shuffles in, mostly British and Turks the German stick to Antalya. Last year -so I was told- lots of Russians and Ukrainians. But no more…. (In fact so so many Russians that they had several TV stations all in Russian language in Antalya.) Here, at the resort, I came, I saw and I left. Fast. Breakfast in a tiny village on the way further up the coast. Had a Turkish crepe with potatoes, feta cheese (always) and (I guess) spinach leaves.
