Okay, okay. Maybe between trail pals and trail pups the trails are getting fun again. • There were definitely still moments of mild panic but I agreed to a reverse #KangaLoop in exchange for the @parkhotelabbotsford to be our pub of the week so I stuck to that decision and I mostly had a good time for our 11.4km of #TrailRunning. Reverse Kanga always feels harder, the start is slower and it feels like there is more uphill. But of course there are some bits that are easier, coming up the hill out of the kangaroo's nose (instead of down) and the paved downhill cruise into Studley Park. For a change we even got the arms pretty spot on (that was a team effort) and the fence is down from under the new #WalmerStreetBridge so we could give our kanga a proper tail again! I would go so far as to say this is the best reverse kanga we have ever done. Minicon’s construction works for the Walmer Street Bridge are nearing completion and set to become a valuable community asset over the Yarra River, linking Richmond to Studley Park on Melbourne’s CBD fringe. Working with client Salta Properties, this project has presented a range of challenges from its complex technical nature to managing diverse sets of needs for community stakeholders. “Excitingly, as the project reaches completion, there are plans to hand over the bridge and connection pathways ahead of schedule, which is a tribute to the successful collaboration between our client and hard-working team,” said Minicon's Executive Director, Daniel Crawley.
