Hossegor 2024 / J5 Découverte du Trinquet ce matin @letrinquetsh Petit verre en terrasse puis initiation à la pelote ou pala depuis les tribunes par des supporters avertis dont le petit Eneko, 6 mois et sa maman @__kellyhrt 2 équipes de 2 s'affrontent et doivent atteindre le score de 40 points en 1er. Les coups filent et les lunettes de protection sont obligatoires (elles sont sans verre!) J'ai même pu descendre faire une photo des joueurs sur le terrain ! 🙏 accueil très sympa 🙏 Dernier (et 1er pour moi) saut dans l'océan sur la plage de la Gravière. C'est en croquant l'homme qui est à l'horizon que je réalise qu'il est allongé sur sa femme... 😅🤣 Fin du croquis minute, on se réfugie à la Cabane de la Gravière avant l'orage qui menace... Hossegor 2024 / J4 Hier matin (😅 oui post en retard), croquis tôt au beau marché aux poissons de Capbreton. Ce n'est pas "à la criée" mais prix fixes par chaque pêcheur, ouvert tous les matins. Spot au top avec petit 🥐 apporté par une amie 😘 Il y a du monde et je me régale 😎🎨 Je croque Cécile et son magnifique étalage de poissons (bonite et lotte délicieuses à la plancha!) @cecian1302 🙏😋 Et ses voisins "Le Petit Prince" dont Joby que je dessine de dos pendant qu'il travaille. My contribution to the #uskweek2024 , a free workshop with the topic ‚Three colors are sometimes enough/Sketching with triads‘. We did some color mixing and then sketched 3 different color moods. This is useful to be able to work with values instead of the local color. It was such fun working with the sketchbuddies. The weather was so bad, that we had to sketch in a Restaurant. I haven’t had time to get out and about yet but I thought it might be a nice opportunity to share some urban sketches from recent years. Hopefully I’ll get some time to sketch some new ones, too! Here’s one of my very first urban sketches - Newcastle Central station, in ink and Copic marker. I don’t take my markers out urban sketching much anymore, as they don’t work very well in my travel sketchbooks, which have thick paper that dries the nibs our, but I quite like the effect here.
