Scientific name - micromelo undatus - commonly known as the wavy bubble snail. This was found during a very terrible vis at 📍Rig Reef 2 in Muara, and if I recalled correctly, this is the first time I took a photo of the species. It's World Turtle Day 🐢 and here's one of my favourite photos of the endangered Hawksbill turtle when we went to one of the sites in Jerudong - I could be wrong, it could be in 📍Zanidi Reef with @kimmy.on The turtle is also one of my favourite sea creatures (hence I used it for my UW photography logo). The species itself is one of the most vulnerable in the world, but happy to see abundant of them in Brunei waters. Either way, we should do our best for the health of the oceans. This photo was taken with a 📸 GoPro Hero 11 and no external lighting - not the best but it still captured the creature very nicely. As a kid who grew up next to the beach, I've always been fascinated by these hermit crabs. They're literally everywhere in KB beach, so finding them in my dives tends to bring back some great memories. The Hypselodoris emma! This is actually one of my favourites! They're pretty much everywhere in Brunei 🇧🇳 waters, whether on reefs or wrecks. A closer look of the Doriprismatica atromarginata (excuse my spelling if I got it wrong) with a slightly retracted rhinophore. This little sea slug is also known as the Cheesecake seaslug. Found this little guy at 📍 Zanidi Reef, Jerudong, Brunei (just less than 10m) 📸 Olympus TG-6 with a generic Video light. On the next dive I'll be planning to try and take a slightly narrow light beam for these macros. Hello there! Testing out an Olympus TG-6 with the Seafrog underwater casing with a video light! Not gonna lie but it took me a little while to get used to it and I still am learning some tips and tricks on how to properly use them. My dives today was fully Macro Mode, took a lot of time adjusting and one of the results is this little Goniobranchus Coi. This was taken at 📍 Zanidi Reef, Jerudong, Brunei. We had a Ketupat with the crew of #OceansHope ! Vis was absolutely perfect, though in Zanidi Reef we had a lot of thermoclines! It'll be a dry weekend for me next week unfortunately!
