Last night was awesome at Greer Dragway, testing went well with the 14R! I kept pushing the bike each time out of the hole more and more as I have not launched a big bore bike in at least two years. Magic Mike pulled out his Gen 3 Busa at the end of the night and we made two passes together. The first pass I missed a gear and this is the second pass. They tricked us with the normal tree instead of PT so our reactions are terrible, we crossed the line side by side and I barely got him by .0011 of a second. It was an awesome run and we will get together again to do some runs and get faster! I still have some setup mods to go and I want to add some spring pressure to the clutch. I want to get down to 1.5 second 60’ times and into the 5’s in the 8th mile to be competitive for SS. It was a good first time out testing for sure! It was also awesome hanging out with the guys that I have not seen in forever as well! Thank you @creid81 for running by Adam’s Performance for the Lowering Links and @geneticking for the help with the lowering and Healtech install as this bike is a two person job if you want to get done quick haha. The Healtech shifts like butter, I am impressed 100% with it! We lowered the front an inch and a half and the rear about an inch and a half as well. The front is strapped in this picture. One the 120/60/17 goes on the front we may lower the rear a little more. Tires next and then testing! Today we went out and tuned @beater_busa ‘s Gen 2 Hayabusa! This bike is a unique build as his goal was to build a lightweight Busa on the low. We had this gorgeous K6 in today for a street tune! The K5/K6 bikes are one of our favorites along with the K7/K8 GSXR 1000’s.
