1. 🐬good morning greetings🐬 2. Cabbage Tree Island in the middle while searching for wind on our way northbound to round the island. Spot theres a mast with white sails left of the Island🏝 3. 25hrs after start Sydney skyline visible again🌇 4. Active code zero trimming to sunset 🌅 5. Sydney opera house and Sydney Harbour Bridge in dusk.🌉 6. As above but at 10pm, when drifting 1knt with the tidal current towards the finish line. 🏁 7.sailed route for #B330 #Hartbreaker. Tacking track north on Friday night and most of Saturday we were on port tack beating upwind from Cabbage Tree Island with some hours of Code Zero and A2 spinnaker to enter Sydney Harbour. 8. First 11 places in DIV1 handicap. Living in the slow cooked world. #sleepeatsailrepeat ☸️☸️☸️☸️☸️☸️☸️☸️☸️☸️☸️☸️☸️☸️☸️☸️ Update and additional description on previously made cryptic caption which I made at Sydney airport domestic terminal, waiting for a flight home to Melbourne while seriously sleep deprived after racing 27h and some odd minutes this last weekend in #CYCA #cabbagetreeislandrace. The race was a real #vinoshow aka #jiirikiipeli in english one could say #diagonallyalignedteatherplay that the crew enjoyed. To speak the truth, after docking the boat in around 11pm and after tidying up the boat, crew dinner and grabbing a ride to the airport, making it thru the security checks to the gate I must have dozed off and I didn’t even remember making this update until I was going to update again. After about 18hrs of restoring sleep feeling like a human again. Race competitors were served variable strength winds from +25knt winds on Friday evening start to wind totally dying on us just a nautical mile before the finish line in Sydney Harbour.
